UPDATE 11/17/09 Congratulations to top pledge earners Level 2 Aidan Pinto and Timothy Abbott, Level 3 Jeremy Meyer and Anna Morgan, L4 Andrew Standing and Rebekah Pollner and Level 5 Zach Jones. Thank you and congratulations to everyone that participated. Lap pins and other awards and prizes will be handed out next week. There were net pledges of almost $6,000! Contributions of approx $400 each were made to USA Swimming and the Avon Breast Cancer Walk.

UPDATE 10/28/09 Congratulations to all of the participants for the MCSC Swim-A-Thon 2009. Every year I am so impressed by the effort all of the swimmers put into this wonderful event. This year, everyone contributed to surpass 10,000 laps and earned pledges of over $5,000! This is a last call for anyone that hasn't turned in their pledge forms. Please get them turned in and email mcscsat@mcscnj.com immediately so we can finish the accounting and declare the winners of the gift certifcates too!

The swim-a-thon is a fund raising activity for the MCSC but it's also an opportunity for the swimmers to control their practice session. Swimmers obtain pledges for swimming a certain number of laps. Swimmers then participate and strive to swim the number of laps that they choose! Like all fundraising for the MCSC, this is optional, but there's also no lower or upper limit for how much a swimmer needs to get in order to take part in this special practice. Take part in this special practice and earn rewards for your efforts.
