The MCSC has limited availability. There is availability for our once-a-week, "OAW" practice program on Saturdays at MBS 2PM. Swimmers that want to join this program need to be evaluated to obtain their swimmer Level within the MCSC.
There is an MCSC evaluation day on 9/4. Last names beginning A-M are from 10:20-11am and N-Z are from 1-2pm. If you have a conflict, you can go at the other time. Arrive 10 minutes early to check in. There are limited openings for regular club memberships for seasonal and for year-round experienced & competitive swimmers the Level 1 (beginner) lessons program.
When we do hold evaluations, this is the process: There is no need to sign up in advance for an evaluation and there is no "evaluation" registration form. You do need to download and bring your Registration Form , to join the club, to the evaluation. The coach will assign a swimmer Level after the evaluation and your registration form must then be turned in to the coach after the evaluation. Besure your email address is legible, you've circled the months and practice days you're looking for and fill in the swimmer Level. You can add 2nd and 3rd choice practice days if you're flexible. There are lockers to change in before and/or after the short evaluation. Swimmers may attend the appropriate practice after a successful evaluation, pending availability. There is no fee for an evaluation.

You decide the practice months and days you want to participate based on your swimmer goals, not based on the club goals. Our coaching staff suggests Level 2 swimmers and/or 8&unders practice twice per week, Level 3 or 9-11yr olds three times per week, and Level 4 & 5 or 12yr olds and over four or more practice days per week. These are only suggestions and are very dependent on the swmmer goals and their ability. Most members swim the school year, Sept-June, though again, it's based on your swimmers goals. Some only practice in the spring, to prepare for their summer league while others swim year round.
