  1. All events in each session will be swum in both pools simultaneously.

  1. The pools will be divided into “Odd Heat Pool- Scoreboard Pool” & “Even Heat Pool-Dive Pool. Thus, event 1 heat 1 will be swum in the scoreboard pool while event 1 heat 2 will be swum in the dive pool, virtually simultaneously.

  1. Heat 1 of an event will not begin until all heats of the previous event have completed.

  1. If necessary, the Meet Director will arrange for short (5-10 minute) breaks between events to give swimmers rest between events.

  1. Warm-ups will be extended 10 minutes and this part of warm-up will be open to all to allow for swimmers to practice turns in each pool.

All Hospitality, Safety & Odd Jobs volunteers should arrive for their session before warm ups begin. These and other volunteers for the am sessions can enter the main Rec Center entrance (walk around the building to the left from the parking lot) between 6:30 - 7:00AM. Everyone should check in with the MCSC Head Timer when they (or the Head Timer) arrives.

Since all parents will be working in one place or another, ask your swimmer to find you to let you know what heats and lanes they'll be in if you want to watch them swim. For the timers and officials, the plan is to have enough extras so they can fill in for you if you need to catch your swimmers heat in the other pool. ... Of course, you do need to return promptly.

Swimmers will be able to enter the gym, through one set of the emergency exit doors for the am sessions from 7 to 7:15. Afterwards, they'll enter through the regular entrance. Swimmers will be dropping their bags and relaxing in the gym when they're not swimming.
