Scratch Sheets due by 10:20 and
all that other coaching stuff. |
10AM, with Jenn |
The current plan is:
Everyone should enter via the atrium entrance.
Swimmers can begin arriving as early as 9:45 and drop their bags, snacks, etc in the old gym.
It is every swimmer and parents responsibility that everyone cleans up after themselves and that the entire area is cleaned up after the meet.
All swimmers should report to the Coach in the old gym when they arrive, to check in.
All swimmers should have flip-flops or other footwear to move between the old gym and the pool.
There will be 2 25-minute warm ups and each swimmer will be assigned to one of the warm ups when they check in.
Heat sheets (what heat and lane) will be posted by 10:45.
The meet events will begin at 11AM and is expected to go until about 2:30.
Marshalling of the swimmers to their events will take place under the scoreboard or by the lifeguard stand on the pool deck.
Once the meet begins, swimmers should only leave the pool deck after they check to see what event is being marshaled.
As long as they have time, they can go to their bags for a snack, rest rooms etc, but should return to the deck.
Swimmers should only bring their towels, a tee shirt and water to the pool deck (no food).

To allow more swimmers to swim. ·
To conform to facility capacity limits or for facility safety
concerns. ·
To condense the meet into smaller time frame. Some
of the changes that can be made: 1) add a session, 2) heat limit distance
events, 3) to condense sessions and 4) eliminate relays. |
