MCSC Sets Fast Pace For Junior Olympics!

The MCSC headed into the end of the 2007-2008 swim year at a fast pace for the NJ Swimming Long Course Junior Olympics Championship Meet. The 3rd MCSC swim year brought in 300 members, many new team records, Zone qualifiers, Gold & Silver Times and countless personal Best Times, supported by an excellent coaching staff, all based on every members individual goals.

Now, the MCSC sent a record number of swimmers to the Long Course Junior Olympics. There's young Hollie Hopf, "flying" to best times and Charlie Trinco, who's in the "Zone". We have our own "Fantastic Four", Patrick Bauer, Matthew Carey, Matthew Finkelstein and Michael Stiles, ready to carry the torch for the still leading trailblazers Garrett Pullis and Brian Stiles. There's speed driven Jessica Stiles and Jamie Viotto ready to break all records. There are also up and coming racers Alina Demirel, Julia Dottinger, Gabrielle Ferrara, Stephanie Harris and Molly Shaffer taking part in the championship meet.

These swimmers are representing everyone on the MCSC. They performance reflects the countless hours of hard work put in by every swimmer on the club. Each member of the club joins in their success, building this club and willing to do what it takes to be the examples and founders of our young club. Years from now, swimmers from our first 3 years and for the next couple of years, will be able to look back and say that they set the original records and set this fast pace for the Morris County Swim Club.
