Pullis Zoned In and MCSC Parties!

Garrett Pullis of Boonton Twp
represented NJ Swimming and the Morris County Swim Club at the US
Eastern Zone Swimming Championships held in Buffalo NY April 3 to 5,
competing in 4 events. Pullis qualified for the Zone Meet in the
M13-14 100 Butterfly at the NJ Junior Olympics held in March and NJ
Swimming also entered the athlete in 3 additional events. Pullis was
one of only a handful of Morris County athletes to qualify for the
Zone Meet.

Pullis swam to a 9th Place finish in
the 100 Fly with a time of 55.92. He placed 13th in his other 3
events, representing NJ as 1 of 2 NJ swimmers per event at the Zone
Meet. His 100 Breaststroke time was 1:06.31, the 50 Freestyle time
clocked in at 23.63 and his 100 Freestyle finish was 50.95.
The
Morris County Swim Club is on a short break, in between seasons. In
late March, the MCSC held a party after their last practice of the
winter season. They begin practices for the Spring Training Program
for Summer League and the Long Course Season (meets held in 50 meter
pools) on April12. The MCSC has limited availability for both
programs at both of their training locations, the Morristown Beard
