MCSC Captures 1st Place relays at 9-10 Champs!

Julia Hall, Fara Cohen, Hollie Hopf, Casey Hasenbein, Charlie Trinco and Stephanie Harris combined for 2 1st Place Relays at the NJ Swimming 9-10 Silver/Bronze Championships February 23-24 at Newark Academy. Stephanie Harris earned Gold in three distance events, the 200 Free, 200IM and 500 Free.

| Casey Hasenbein earned 2 Gold Times, the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke. The 50 Free Time of 30.95 was also a 1st Place finish. Fara Cohen captured Gold in the 100 Breaststroke. Gold Times qualify the swimmers for the NJ Swimming Short Course Junior Olympics at Rutgers University in March. The MCSC took in 52 Silver Times and 30 Top-10 finishes at the Silver & Bronze Meet. More highlights will be added later. In the meantime, congratulations to everyone at the meet and if you're around this weekend, please volunteer some of your much needed time helping at our co-hosted meet. All of this weekends swimmers will be taking part in this meet in only a few short years and then you'll appreciate the younger swimming parents helping out.
