The MCSC opened
its doors to swimmers on Oct 3rd, 2005 as a parent board
run swim club, creating opportunities for athletes to swim
competitively. The MCSC has great coaches and also offers swimmers
flexibility with their training. Swimmers choose the length of their
training program, the number of days they want to train and the
specific days to practice. The MCSC has practice times available to
all levels of competitive swimmers seven days per week. The club
recognizes that athletes have other commitments or activities and
provides this flexibility to meet the needs of the swimmers.
The MCSC provides
the flexibility for the athlete to match their swimming commitment to
their personal goals, not to the expectations of the club.
Participation at swim meets is optional. The club participates in
sanctioned NJ Swimming events, including championship meets at
Rutgers University and also travels out-of-state to enrich the
swimmers competitive experience. A meet highlight is for the more
accomplished swimmers to travel to the Holiday Invitational at the
West Point Military Academy. Article from In the News
