Zoned In & Starting a New Year!

MCSC athletes take 6 top-10 finishes at Zones
Matthew Carey, Hollie Hopf, Justin Viotto, Brian Stiles & Jessica Stiles all took part in the Eastern Zones Championships in Rockville MD August 11-14th. Brian took 4th Place in the 100 Free and 10th Place in the 800 & 1500 Free. Jessica took 4th Place in the 50 Free. Hollie Hopf earnd 6th Place in the 50 Fly and Justin Viotto earned 9th Place in the 400 Free. Prospective New Member Evaluations Sept 4th
Evaluations (only) at MBS will be for the limited availability with regular membership at both pools and our "Saturday 2pm at MBS once-a-week program".
Optional Stroke clinics in August!
Click here for details for our member only optional stroke clinics. The new MCSC swim year regular practices begin Sat 9/4.
Pool Usage
If you swim at MBS, Level 2 & 3 on Tue needs a couple of swimmers to change to Mon, Wed or Fri to prevent overcrowding. Level 4 needs a few swimmers to move from Mon to Tues, Wed, Thurs or Sat. Level 5 needs moves from Tue & Thur to Wed, Sat or Sun. (as of 9/1)

Evaluation day for prospective new members is 9/4 at MBS. The time and more details will be available by 9/1. The times for evaluations are 10:20-11AM for last names A-M and 1-2pm for N-Z. Arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Add stilesjj@optonline.net and swimstiles@yahoo.com to your contacts list or emails will go to your bulk mail folder. If you want to join the MCSC, check the registration form for fee information.
Coach Search Update: While we have energetic & supportive coaches set up for the fall schedule, our search for more excellent coaches continues. We have resumes in and are evaluating the candidates, including ... well, if it happens, I'll keep that a surprise for some of you older members.
2010-2011 Swim Year Registration
New swim year fee & payment emails have been sent out. Between returning members and many new members, we should have some excellent relays this season & a record number of JO swimmers!

The Morris County Swim Club trains at the Morristown-Beard School in Morristown and the County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. Members live in towns throughout Morris County NJ, from more than 20 area towns. Current members come from as far north as Kinnelon, Montville and Jefferson Township; west from Chester & Succasunna, south from Basking Ridge and Bernardsville and east from West Orange, Chatham and East Hanover. Local towns Randolph, Denville, Morris Township, Morristown, Florham Park, Mountain Lakes, Madison, Mendham, Mt Tabor, Boonton Twp, Parsippany and others are represented too.
