The Morris County Swim Club made the most of a blacked-out practice day, choosing to attend the Seton Hall Sprints Meet held May 12 at Seton Hall University. (Updated Results)

MAY METERS MATTER
Vinny Marciano showed May Meters really do matter, posting a M10&U 50m Backstroke time of 32.07, almost 7-tenths of a second faster than the USA Swimming National Age Group Record, held since 2010 by Michael Andrew. Marciano set multiple NJ Swimming records over the weekend. At the meet, 55 of 57 MCSC athletes set new or Best Times with a club total of 287 new or Best Times. Adrian Massuet and Jessica Stiles joined Laurel Carey, Vinny Marciano & Brian Stiles with Sunday first place victories as the MCSC continued it's excellent performance at the May Meters Matter Meet at Felix Festa Middle School. The Morris County Swim Club trains at the Morristown-Beard School in Morristown and the County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. Members live in towns throughout Morris County NJ, from more than 20 area towns. Current members come from as far north as Kinnelon, Montville and Jefferson Township; west from Chester & Succasunna, south from Basking Ridge and Bernardsville and east from West Orange, Chatham and East Hanover. Local towns Randolph, Denville, Morris Township, Morristown, Florham Park, Mountain Lakes, Madison, Mendham, Mt Tabor, Boonton Twp, Parsippany and others are represented too.
